I just got a thumbs up from my son.  He is going to sing in our wedding!  He is a shy type of boy so I am kinda excited and nervous about this.  Excited for him because he gets to perform in public, every father loves that for their son/daughter, but nervous because him being a shy-type, he might suddenly back out in the last minute.  In any case, his condition is that I do the guitars so it is a father and son performance after all!

Excited About the Prenup Shoot

I'm quite excited to have our prenup shoot this August.  Afterall, I did choose the photographers and videographers and really invested much to it.  It should be unique and fun experience to remember!

We have an idea on what the theme might be - *hint* something to do with robots *hint* but we have not yet finalized everything with the team.

Oh yeah, the picture here is Danbo, my cute cardboard robot. He might do a cameo in the shoot if the theme pushes through!  Did I ever mention I love robots?  I even turned it into a hobby, creating real, moving, interactive, thinking, small robots :)

On another note, we almost have contracts with all the necessary vendors so I will update the team page very soon!

11 months and counting.. :)

We have a very short trip back home last March to spend time with Mama for her 50th birthday (post birthday celebration). We have a short 5 day stay and we have to squeeze in some days for wedding preps. :)

Straight from the airport, we headed to Zambales for us to spend time with the family, see the farm and most importantly, for him to meet grandma and the rest of the family. First 3 days has been quite relaxing..slept almost the whole day on our first day, went to the beach on Saturday and headed back to Manila by Sunday.

Photographer and Videographer: Check!

We are quite surprised that couples now back home starts their wedding preps way ahead (as in way, way, way ahead!). Some of them have booked their suppliers as early as 2 years prior to their big day. This alerted us big time!

Since we got our wedding location confirmed, it is now time to scout for our photographer and videographer. These two are in the list of our top priorities. Top priority for us means that we are okay to splurge a little bit to get the service that we want. Besides, P/V would be one of the few things that will be left even after the wedding. H2B have the final go signal for our P/V suppliers. Being a hobbyist himself, it is understandable why he is quite particular on these two. I suggested a few suppliers to him but he is only keen to these few.

Finalize Wedding Date: Checked!

It has been more than a month since we've been engaged. Honestly, nothing much had changed in our day to day situation except for me wearing a ring everyday. :)

H2B let me choose our wedding date, with just a few restrictions..no November, December or January. Due to personal preference, h2b do not like the idea of having our anniversary in November. On the other hand, December and January can be considered peak months so it might be quite harder (and more expensive) to book suppliers for those dates. Plus it is too near to Christmas, meaning ballooning expenses in just one season alone.

We're Going to The Beach!

We have decided!  And it's going to be a beach wedding just the way the bride want it.  It's really hard to win against the bride isn't it?  But I'm not really against beach wedding so it's OK.  Its the cost that I am really worried about.

We're still finalizing most of the vendors and I am now officially in charge of picking the photographer and the videographer.  For these ones, I am willing to pay more.  Why?  Well because the outputs from these two vendors are the ones that will stay with us forever!  It'll be good to look back on this day when we are all wrinkly and smelly!
